Author event: Murderabilia by Carl Vonderau
Carl Vonderau’s debut thriller, Murderabilia– referring to the art and objects owned by serial killers -- tells more than a simple story: it comments on the culture surrounding the children who grow up in the shadows of serial killers. This novel brings secrets and deception, characters haunted by mistakes of their families, and the “art” of murder. The protagonist, William McNary, is the son of an infamous serial killer who brutally butchered his victims and then posed them for a collection of black and white photos. A threatening phone call from a man claiming to be his brother shatters the idyllic life he has constructed.
