Author event: Call Me American by Abdi Nor Iftin

Join fellow readers for Love Has No Borders: Storytelling and Music on Immigration to meet Winchester author and featured speaker for the night Abdi Nor Iftin as he shares his memoir, Call Me American, about life as a Somalian refugee. Abdi travels and speaks throughout the U.S. to champion the cause of refugees and internally displaced persons. This event-- also featuring a handful of other storytellers and musicians-- is hosted by Winchester Unitarian Society and is a fundraiser for Lexington Refugee Assistance Program, suggested donation is $10-20.

Copies of the book will be sold on-site by Book Ends!
